Achalena has never touched a musical instrument or device other than his tape recorders, microphones and computer keyboard. He is a passionate observer of the infinite vibrations surrounding and influencing him in his every living moment and is equally obsessed in their recording and cataloging. Asked by Jones to document the fine line between beauty and terror he quickly set out documenting all he felt through the sounds that chose him to be present for their communications. Creating lush droning soundscapes and rich textures of reverbed butterfly wing breezes and delayed caterpillar moltings. Jones decided to explore the perceptual diferences in "give & take", "living & existing" and "symbiosis & parasitism". Jones has touched a many of instruments and somehow leaves no evidence of such. Songs, samples & tracks were traded and reworked, collaborated and rehearsed as well as hijacked and destroyed. Mixed together in one final session just in time for Halloween Caroling
